Casa Mocho Branco is located high up in the hills of Loulé. Surroundings are peaceful and relaxing but we are still close to the busy tourist and golf resorts of Vilamoura, Albufeira, Quinta do Lago and Vale do Lobo. In fact we are right on the border of the bustling Algarve coast and the rural paradise of interior Algarve.

During your stay with us you should take time to visit the picturesque villages of Alte and Salir and enjoy the natural beauty of Rocha da Pena. The views from the hills of Benafim are simply magnificent and the walks afforded by the Ribeira de Algibre are unforgettable.

Exploring the Algarve countryside is easy to do from your base at Casa Mocho Branco. You will see shepherds tending their sheep and traditional farmhouses, churches and vineyards. Local bars and old style restaurants are a great way to sample traditional Algarvian wines and dishes. And don't forget, you will have free use of our mountain bikes, so can really explore the region at your leisure!
